Please add a save button to Support Info pluggin, I think that is a very useful to save on my desktop PC not using copy&paste, also using save info button.

When the script is run from command line, it can email you. I will look into saving the output.

I will look into saving the output.
Thanks a lot.

Maybe a save button is not needs but output also goes to a file, a file that is overwritten with each run of script. We could have ppl then attach file in forums for us to see.
No Ryeco, none of above is need. People can highlight, copy and paste right out of support info window... I just did it and it works nice.

perhaps I explain bad my problem ( not great problem like you see).
When I want to save for future reference info from this pluggin, I need to highlight text, copy and paste on a new blank page on my notepad on my Windows PC and save this new file.
Y suppose that a save button to save this file directly to my PC is not dificult, and was a great addon for this usefull plugging, and users can upload this file in easy way to forum in case of needed , but I respect you and in this case the ball is in your side.

If it is not to much work Ryeco will probably add it. The file should probably be one that is overwritten each time that the scripts for this plugin runs or the button is pressed. I do not think it is good idea to have a new file that is taking space and archiving, or something.
We should all try to be aware that the info. in the Support Info. TAB can easily be copied and pasted when we are helping to support people.
-
A DL button, like the one in System > Logs would do it, but users can copy and paste the info also. Don't know, if we need this ...
-
Too much work. I don't know how to add a button to a ext.panel.textarea either.
-
Nix the idea then. People can copy and paste....
-
OK, no problem, thanks for try it.
