OMV restarting and blinking

  • I installed OMV on a motherboard with Celeron 1007 processor with NM70i chipset, however the OMV screen keeps flashing and restarting on its own.

I ran the dmesg | grep -i fail

  • the OMV screen keeps flashing and restarting on its own

What does this mean? Is OMV "rebooting" on it's own? If it is rebooting, I'd look at BIOS.

I would look at BIOS / UEFI settings and, if available and possible, consider turning off ACPI.

I've noted that the chipset (NM70i) is older and may have an update available for it.
