I think I killed my raid0 setup

  • Hi Guys,

I had a raid0 (two hard drives) set up for my omv (debian - pc) nas but after taking it apart (changing case and power supply) the raid0 (md0) is not being detected) but yet both drives are as separate entities. I was also running smartctl commands aswell. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this problem?

    by running: sudo mdadm -E /dev/sda, I get: /dev/sda: MBR Magic : aa55 Partition[0] : 4294967295 sectors at 1 (type ee)

and the same thing appears if i do the second drive /dev/sdb

"sudo mdadm --assemble /dev/md0" - does nothing

"sudo mdadm --assemble /dev/md0 /dev/sda /dev/sdb" - says sda has no superblock (dont know what that means)
