I just set up v5 this afternoon. I did omv-firstaid and changed the password. The new password did not work at the command prompt with a keyboard/mouse either. But it worked when I went to the web UI. Now I'm trying to SSH and it doesn't work there either. 100% sure I'm keying it the same.
Password that works in the web UI does not work in SSH

The admin user can not login via ssh or the console. The admin user can only login via the WebUI.
If you need console access login as root or create a new user for this purpose.
The login via ssh by the root user is disabled by default, but this can be changed. It is better practice to login as a non-privileged user and either su to root or use sudo commands.

Thanks but something else is going on. I created a new user, "test" with password "test" and applied changes. Still "Access denied" in Putty.

Never mind. Added to SSH group. How do I add a home directory for a new SSH user?

In Access Rights Management | User | Settings tab enable User home directory and select a location from the drop down list.

That got it. Thanks!
