It didn't work for me for some reason.
Hmm, that's weird. I had no issue when I symlinked my containers directory. The only issue I've read on symlink of the containers folder, is some containers (like Plex, etc.) require a file system that has an executable flag.. If I'm not mistaken, that cannot be passed on through a symlink. So it may cause a issue if you use those containers.
I personally had no issue with it though.
I'll have to check that in a virtual machine when I get time.
