podman plugin to cockpit wasn't possible?

Should it not be able to control docker as well? Or am I missing something here?
Seems doubtful but I have never used it. The readme says it is a interface for podman containers - https://github.com/cockpit-pro…man/blob/master/README.md
Maybe I have misunderstood something but haven't they written somewhere that the cockpit-podman would be a replacement for the docker cockpit?
I try to stay away from the Red Hat stuff (even though I use it all day long at work) but they seem to be moving away from Docker to podman that they control.
