sudo omv-aptclean
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
ok after a lot of output it finished its update. whats my next step to get this working again.

That typically means your server has a DNS issue and is not online
I'm doing it locally, I can see the server on the Lan I'll check and see if it can connect out and report back.
