Backup system disk

Hi guys,

I understand my question must have been recently installed OMV 5 and I want to back the system disk.

I understand there are 2 main options:

-clonezilla

-backup plugin

But I can get it working.

1. I tried Clonezilla, installed from extra, reboot and used the GUI. The clone failed (with 2 different disks).

2. I installed the backup plug in from extra but apparently can only backup shared folder.

Apologies if my questions are basics and of course I tried hard with the search top-right but I'm stuck. Can anyone give me some help?

The shared folder is where the backup is written TO. The plugin can only backup the OS disk.

After you did a backup, make sure to test it and that you are able to restore.
