Assuming you are using OMV 5.x, there is no docker plugin. omv-extras can install docker and optionally portainer or yacht. Both portainer and yacht have options to use compose code.

Well, the webUI does mention it is Alpha. Yacht has a ton of potential and I'm looking forward to it's progress. For now though, I'm sticking with Portainer. If yiou have not figured it out, you can add your docker-compose files to Stacks.... Makes them very easy to update, redeploy if necessary, etc (although truthfully, that's not horribly difficult from the command line either)

What features? While it is labeled alpha, it works pretty well from my tests. The dev is active on this forum as well.

Currently you're a bit stuck with what you have. Editing is in the works. Docker-compose support with an in browser editor is being pushed after some final testing this week so you'll be able to do change names if you're using docker-compose then.
