Hello,
I have a problem, I have reinstalled OMV5 recently and I am trying to install Docker on my extenal Hard Drive.
I am running OMV on a Pi 4 (4 gig of RAM), boot is on a SSD card.
External Drive (ext4) is wired through USB3 port and is inside an enclosure Orico.
I have created some shared folders :
There is a shared folder that I named "containers" were I intended to install Docker and where the containers will be running.
And this is the path I set in OMV for Docker :
First issue when this is done :
When I go to the folder "containers", it is empty. I guess since I mounted this volume as the Docker install folder, there should be some files & folders inside. But it is empty.
And Docker is working. So I suppose it was installed on the boot drive.
Second issue, when I create a container (like Jackett for instance), in my docker compose I set the path as :
/srv/dev-disk-uuid-cda8d6a5-c751-4121-8c36-04730cf00eaa/config/jackett:/config
*the S at the end of "unless-stopped" is not part of the compose-file, just a typo when I took the screenshot
And then, again, the config folder is empty without any Jackett folder (I have tried with other images like Sonarr, Radarr, etc... same issue, the /config folder remains empty after creating the container)
I even set the permissions for all the folders as "everyone write/read/execute" to see if that could make any difference.
Even when I installed Docker in its default folder /var/lib/... which is on the boot drive, I had the same problem : the /config folder was remaining empty even after creating few containers.
The settings looks okay in Portainer :
What I do not understand is that last month it was working correctly (but docker was install on /var/lib....), but since I have reinstalled OMV this month, I have this issue.
Does someone know how to fix these issues please ? Thank you !
