Get error messages no matter what kind of changes I want to do in the web-guy

  • Hi there,

I just installed OMV (I think the last one based on i386) on an Thecus N5500. It was really tricky, but I tried to install a clean Debian betonst, upgraded and updated it on an so called DOM (Disk on Module). Which I can put in the N5500.

After that I managed to activate the networkadapters I get at least contact on the web-gui.

But now the Issue is, that everything on the gui I try to change, and afterwards try to save and apply, I get a very long error-code, and the applied changes where not carried out.

The error code ist this one:

Every error explanation I get from the internet leads to issue with the RAID configuration. But I didn't already built a raid at all? So, is there any other possibility I do wrong? Or something I missed to configure in first place?

I even could not set the IP-Adresse to the both Networkadapters, I wanted to.

Thanks a lot for your patience with me as noob! :-) ... and your guidance.

    Greetings El Fatih

  • Ok - i found the issue - i have only to delete some networkcard which i had needed during installation but which was not include in the targetsystem. So the solution was very very simple! :-( ... i only had to delete in the webgui the networkadapter, which is not available on the target system.
