I need to make backups of my OMV [HELP]

  • After struggling installing my server it is already there; I am afraid of losing or that something will be damaged that is why I used timeshift in my virtual machine for a backup of my entire debian system with success in my restoration tests, but I have found that when a RAID system is installed timeshift it gives problems and won't start at all... so daily I feel fearful that anything will happen and I will have to start installing everything again.

1 I need a backup system for my entire system (I liked timeshift because it was super simple and powerful to take snapshots of the entire system to restore it completely, unfortunately it does not work when there is a RAID system installed)

2 I want to make backups of my OMV at least so I don't have to reinstall it with the dockers and other things

I hope they can help me

    ;)

  • roycordero

Hat das Label OMV 5.x hinzugefügt.
  • There is a backup plugin, but restore is not easy.

I suggest you to make a simple clone or image of your system drive.

    e.g. with Clonezilla.

clonezilla mm ok... and it have a gui easy interfase like timeshift? i was using timeshift but it doesnt work with raid discs :(

    i gonna look for clonezilla
