Reset config.xml?

    We need a "reset button" in the UI. In my case, through trying to debug several problems, there is some inconsistency in config.xml and system mounts that it doesn't recognize (but are clearly there), etc. I'd just like to reset OMV and start over, without reinstalling the entire system.


    Until we can get this "reset button" implemented, what is the best approach?

    This button should never exist. That is a very harsh approach. You should never end up with an inconsistent config.xml if you aren't doing things from the command line. /etc/fstab should always be overwritten by what is in config.xml.


    An empty template exists here - /usr/share/openmediavault/templates/config.xml

    While I agree with you, would a purge and reinstall of OMV essentially achieve what the op wants?
