File system loss on raid 5

  • Hello all,

I have a proxmox virtualization server on which I have an OMV vm

This vm no longer works due to a bad update in ssh

    Not going to backup ...

I left an installation on a new vm

I got my raid 5 well with the info:

In the information on the raid it appears "Used Dev Size: 3906886144 (3725.90 GiB 4000.65 GB)", does that mean that my data is on it? Or am I wrong?

I do have my device in the filesystem, however, it is empty ...

    Capture

I am a little lost, and not being an expert in linux I hope that someone can help me :saint:

    Or am I wrong

Yep, udev size refers to parity

I do have my device in the filesystem, however, it is empty

Yep that's because according to OMV there are no shared folders on the array, the giveaway is no, under referenced.

BTW please post cli output using the </> on the toolbar (copy and paste) makes it easier to read.

Can you tell me if I can have any hope of recovering my data

What data, according to OMV there isn't any, I have no experience of proxmox, so I have no idea how you created the array in OMV.

Raid is not a backup! Would you go skydiving without a parachute?
