Doubts about openmediavault-plugin ddfull for microsd

    • Official Post

    I was referring to Duplicacy.

Never heard of it. I thought it was a typo. I don't have time to read that other thread but you will probably have to script something.

  • So if I create a full dd backup and then I manually unpack it and upload it, what's the best way to compress it again? There are specific parameters that need to be passed for the compression to be able to write the image to a microsd or I can directly write the unpacked file to a microsd?

Whatever way you want. The plugin uses gzip with no argument.

You can always write the unpacked file. Depends on what program you use to write the image. usbimager could write the gz image without unpacking it first.
