I am using xrdp with xfce4 to remote login from my windows machine.
This has been working flawlessly for a long time but now suddenly stopped working (due to an update i assume).
I just get a black screen after the xorg login and nothing happens.
I have reinstalled xrdp, xorgxrdp and xfce4. It is now a bit better as i can use remotedesktop with my root user at least. Although with the normal user i still have the same issue.
Right now i just don't know anymore where to look for the cause of this.
What i could find in the logs is this entry in .xorgxrdp.10.log:
"(EE) /dev/dri/card0: failed to set DRM interface version 1.4: Permission denied"
Is my user maybe suddenly missing a certain permission for access to the GPU??
Anyone got an idea where to look for a solution to this?
