OMVextras for OMV6

Is there already docker available for 6.0?

G'day. New user here. I've just done a fresh install of OMV 6.0-10, and installed omv-extras 6.0 using the commandline method posted on their github. It appears to install, and I can see a new omv-extras button on the menu with settings, docker, portainer, and yacht buttons. However, when I click on the docker one, and click install, it goes through the process and when complete says that docker is installed and running. But docker does not appear in services as I've seen in some instruction videos for previous versions. Any tips?

Docker does not have a GUI, use portainer {IP}:9000

I'm not able to install OMV-extras for 6.0 alpa.

After installation always by clicking in the webgui to the omv-extras, there is coming a error message. "Software Failure"

Any advice for this?

Edit: Need to "reset the ui to defaults". Now it is working

is the union filesystems plugin likely to get ported as i could use that? i think pretty much everything else i need i can run in docker

OMV6 MergeFS?

Ok so I do I just install mergfs as a package? And the can just manually creat the filesystem in fstab and it will work but I'm assuming I will not be able to edit it in the omv GUI like I could in omv4 with the plugin?

Yes and yes. Place the entry in fstab outside the >>> [openmediavault] stanza.

THANK YOU. I was just struggling with same issue. Resetting UI fixed the problem.

installed the OMV-Extras by the install-script described on the github page. I also got a subitem within the webinterface which says: "omv-extras". But when clicking on it i only got a 404 with a "Software Failure Press left mouse button …" message. Any ideas?

Omv6 was post-installed on a Debian11.

works for me on several installations of OMV6 from ISO, not tested on post-installed on debian 11

I just tried installing the Extras on my new test server with

"wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…ckages/raw/master/install | bash"

it seems to have installed ok but when you click on the left hand menu icon it shows a black screen with "Software Failure", any ideas, am I doing something wrong?
