What did you do to make it work?

What did you do to make it work?
Actually, nothing. It came right by itself. Must be some kind of cache or cookie that is held onto...

I've been seeing this symptom repeatedly on Chrome -- essentially the Web interface enters a state where nothing you click on works any more. Refreshing the page doesn't help. Closing Chrome and then running in incognito mode does seem to work better, although I get no response when hitting the "Save" button in User Management-> Settings after setting the Enable checkbox and specifying a home directory.
I see the following error message in the console when not running Incognito -- it appears BEFORE the unresponsive clicks. I do not see errors when trying to save User Management settings in incognito mode.

UPDATE: The issue with "User Management -> Settings" in incognito mode seems to have disappeared with an update this morning, but the loss of UI response still persists unless I run in incognito mode. This is v6.0-13 running the UI in Chrome on Windows. I still see the "Loading chunk 236 failed" error shown above. Preceding that is...
"Refused to execute script from 'http://192.168.1.42/#/404' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled."
I don't think this thread should be marked "Resolved".

Please have a look into the syslog and watch out for PHP error reports from omv-engined. IMO updating the unser homes has some problems. How many users do you have on your system?
-
There were omv-engined errors in syslog pertaining to an unknown time zone (which was blank in the GUI). I established that setting, but it did not fix the lack of responsiveness in the web UI.
Regarding user configuration, I had either zero or one users at the time -- but I believe this was a different issue than the loss of web response (and is possibly fixed with a recent update).
Here is what I see in the Web UI:
Chrome on Windows, regular Window:
* Web UI logs in, but navigating to submenus generates no response in the main window (it stays on the Dashboard page). Submenus do open and close in the navigation pane.
Chrome on Windows, incognito Window:
* Things seem to be fine.
How do we clear the "resolved" label from this thread? I don't seem to have such powers...
