FTP - directory listing only visible to anonymous

    Hello all,


    I'm new to OMV and I'm currently trying to setup ftp shares. My problem is this: When I access the ftp server using login credentials it seems to connect properly but doesn't show the directory listing. When I access the ftp server as an anonymous, I can see the directory listing as expected.


    Is there some option I maybe missed to get the logged in user to the ftp directories as well?



    Here are some background infos:

    • server has two user accounts
    • server has three shared folders
      • one exclusive to each user, one free for all
        • works on samba share as expected

    I have the exact same issue. Samba works fine, FTP does connect, but does not show any folder for authenticated users. Enabled Anonymus log in, and now it shows directory and I am able to retrieve data from the server. Obviously it won't let me upload data.

    I am interesetd if you were able to solve this in the mean time?

    Update: solved. I needed to set the read-write permissions of the shared folder correctly. ( I thought I had done that, but apparently not)
