My System disk runs out of memory so i found this:
[How-To] Fix full OS filesystem - GUI login loop
So i found that /var/log/ is the problem
Code
432G .
189G ./daemon.log
113G ./syslog.1
74G ./clamav
58G ./syslog
76M ./syslog.2.gz
15M ./installer
944K ./nginx
348K ./nut.log
304K ./daemon.log.1
This is very new to me so i tried to find why the logfiles grow so big.
I found logrotate.
As i understand logrotate works daily.
ls /etc/logrotate.d gives me
apt clamav-daemon.dpkg-old cron-apt dpkg fail2ban monit nginx openmediavault-rsync php7.0-fpm pm-utils proftpd-basic rsyslog samba winbind
so i think all of those logs should be rotated.
or not ?
all helpers welcome
