I am trying to migrate from an old laptop with an external data drive to a desk top where i will place the data inside using SATA connection. I have installed omv, done some of the configuring which all works okay, I have also done all the hardware, I can see my drive in disk in omv, but it is not present in File System. If I attempt to Create while in file system, then the disk is available in devices option, if I continue with the create process then I would format the drive say goodbye to my data.
Is there a work around
Please point me in the right direction.
