Remote Mount - Time Capsule

  • Hi, gromgsxr,

    tryed with your comment, but still can´t mount:

    //192.168.0.90/TimeCapsule /mnt/TimeCapsule -t cifs -o user=xxxxx,password=xxxxxxx,sec=ntlm,vers=1.0,_netdev,iocharset=utf8,vers=1.0,nofail,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777

    Saying:

    -bash: //192.168.0.90/TimeCapsule: No such file or directory after run mount -a

    Any Idea?

    Many thanks

  • Mounted with sucess, but if i restart the Raspberrypi, can´t login. I´m force do disable this mount to get to work.

    I have no idea.

    Thanks

  • Linux kernel 5.15 dropped support for sec=ntlm so the Time Capsule became inaccessible from linux (at least directly).

    Found the script below to be a good solution. It loads a local lightweight alpine VM with kernel that supports NTLM and that is provisioned with the credentials of the shared drive on the Time Capsule or AirPort Extreme and acts as a proxy to the host.

    A couple of terabytes useful again.. 8o
