Disks not awake after sleep

  • For the last couple of weeks my drives have not been waking up from their sleep. After some updates. I have omv 5.6., two HDDs.Autoshutdown puts the drives to sleep in the evening (Suspend), and in the morning when they don't connect after awaking server with wol command from my computer. I get these emails:

    after reboot all is fine.

    Thanks for the advice.

  • Here's my thoughts:

What's under (and in the files of) /etc/udev/rules.d ?

I haven't set any sleep-rules to my HDDs but if I did, I'd expect to find them mirrored in the content of one of those files in there.

I had a brief look and there aren't many entries on my system but maybe /etc/udev/rules.d/99-openmediavault-scheduler.rules might contain something interesting on your end.

Some content might be slightly modified to mask personal settings- just to keep the sharks away, you never know :)
