I have installed MiniDLNA plugin (OMV6). How can I configure the minidlna settings, enable, port setting, folder etc?

When you go to the service MiniDLNA you have "Settings" and "Shares". They have what you are searching.

As far as I know, there is no any gui interface with omv6 after reading some documents. There should be a guide how to configure the setting by editing conf files.
openmediavault-minidlna 5.0.5
OpenMediaVault miniDLNA (DLNA server) pluginInstalled
lightweight DLNA/UPnP-AV server targeted at embedded systems MiniDLNA (aka ReadyDLNA) is server software with the aim of being fully compliant with DLNA/UPnP-AV clients. The minidlna daemon serves media files (music, pictures, and video) to clients on your network. Example clients include applications such as totem and xbmc, and devices such as portable media players, smartphones, and televisions. MiniDLNA is a simple, lightweight alternative to mediatomb, but has fewer features. It does not have a web interface for administration and must be configured by editing a text file.

minidlna does not have a web interface. The plugin does have a web interface and is configuring the text file in the description. The description on the plugin is cut&paste from the minidlna project. If you don't see the dlna tab in the services section, ctrl-shift-R.

I tried to see the minidlna in system section with different browser, even applied ctrl-shift-R. it is still not in system section.

Nothing was changed.

You somehow installed the OMV 5.x version of the plugin on OMV 6.x.
sudo omv-salt deploy run omvextras
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Great job. it solved the problem.
Now I can also see omv-extras under System tab (it is another problem after upgrading omb5 to omv6 which I did not mention in the forum).
Thank you @ryecoaaron

minidlna can crash if you have media it doesn't like.

in previos versin i just enable the minidlna and it was also running. So i have no clue why it is not runing now.....
-
it was working with OMV5 i just reinstall the raspberry and install again omv
But it is a newer version of minidlna (1.2.1 vs 1.3.0). And the only reason the plugin exists is because it is my reference plugin that I port to new versions of OMV to learn the differences. What does the following output:
sudo journalctl -u minidlna
systemctl is-enabled minidlna
