Hello,
I run OMV in version 5.6.17-1 with a Portainer (2.9.1) container. In this Portainer, I e.g. run a WordPress container for my cooking receipts with a port mapping 8080:80. Now I can call my WordPress installation e.g. by calling my OMV's hostname omv.lan plus the mapped port: http://omv.lan:8080
To be honest this is not too intuitiv and since I'm not calling this WordPress page everyday, I have to try out some ports like 81, 8080,... to remember the correct one.
So I wanted to add a hostname for the docker container, e.g. receipts.lan. Therefore I added a hostname in my OpenWrt router that is bound to the ip 192.168.0.10 -> which is the same as for omv.lan.
In portainer I clicked the container running WordPress, clicked "Duplicate/Edit" and in the advanced settings at the end of the view I clicked the tab "Network" and entered my hostname in the "Hostname" input field. After that I clicked "Deploy the container".
This doesn't work and obviously the problem is, that it's caused by the fact, that receipts.lan is forwarded to 192.168.0.10, which is my OMV installation, but not to portainer that has the information, that receipts.lan belongs to omv.lan:8080.
Can you please help me to get this working?
Thanks and kind regards,
Felix
