Updates erroring

I seem to be getting some errors after trying to upgrade (immediately after install), just wondering if I need to worry about this?

Also, I seem to have lost the SMART service after this. I don't know if it's related. Ah... I think I'm going to try a reinstall.

Those errors in your screenshots (please cut&paste next time) are not real errors and can be ignored. It is not related to the smart service.
