What exactly is your problem?
- Do you only want to get rid of the files: delete them
- Do you want to stop the rsync job: delete it in the UI
- Did you choose the wrong target and mixed files: delete files manually, you are out of luck
...
I'm simply using the BACKUP menu in the OMV interface.
There is a setting, how many days backup you would like to keep.

Not for rsync since it keeps just one copy.
What can I do to clean this up?
You either have to delete things on the OS drive or add excludes to the extra options to not back them up.
But not too many files, only some large ones:
# find / -xdev | wc -l
