cannot move files and change name of files in webDav server

  • Hello!

I tried to solve this problem by myself.. but I cannot solve this problem eventually..

so I make this thread to get help :)

    I am using OMV6 with Raspberry Pi 4 B

    I used a docker image named "ugeek/webdav" https://hub.docker.com/r/ugeek/webdav

and I used "Raidrive" as a webDav client.

I actually can run, copy and delete the file...

but when I move or rename files then it says "you need S-1-1-0 permission"

I actually don't know much about webDav.. can't I rename or move the file in the webDav server..?

or is there any solution for this problem..? I googled a lot but I couldn't find any solution for it..

    thank your replies in advance.

  • Are you using a ntfs file system?

You'd better change to samething Linux native (ext4)

If you got help in the forum and want to give something back to the project click here (omv) or here (scroll down) (plugins) and write up your solution for others.

one of my storage is ext4

so I change name of file in the ext4 storage.. but it says "you need S-1-1-0 permission" again..

  • This is definitly a windows error message. I do not know how to help here.
