First Time using Raspberry Pi (setup as a Nas drive turning it to a plex server)

I have set up a raspberry 4b 8GB Ram

Going through instructions based on this youtube video

But the problem I am having is when displaying the drive on my windows 11 laptop.

This is the error I get (see attachment)

Could you please provide what I am missing? This drive got data ready to be imported to my plex server?

I don't want to wipe the drive

I have mounted the hard disk, share the folder and amend the permission as well.

I can see the drive on my laptop but the error still showing

Any suggestions?

What is the IP of your OMV?

Did you care for case sensitivity?

Show the screenshot of smb/cifs share

I am not going to watch videos to get info about your system. That takes too much time, so you will have to write it here.

Check the name: plex vs. Plex

Just to be sure: did you give privileges to your your user on the share?

In your first post you try to reach a shared folder called plex. But in the pictures it is Plex. with a CAPITAL letter p.

You are trying to mount //192.168.0.35/plex, but it schould be //192.168.0.35/Plex.

The original message indicates a network error, ut who knows what this means.

Can you try to mount the share from the cli on windows (cmd shell) Win-R cmd Enter

THese commands one line at a time, post the results, continiue, even if one command fails

Is the name plex Disk with a space in it?

I do not know if this works, but try to use double quotes:

SO your windows can see a share named plex, but can not mount it and claims it can not find it.

can you post the output of this command (on OMV) in a code box:

ssh root@ip_of_omv or use ptto or keyboard / monitor.

You can not do it using the UI.
