Hello,
is there a way to clear a Log in the System Logs Tab in OMV 6 like it's in OMV 5?
Or do I've to do that manually on the CLI?

No

Why would you have to? Logrotate is used to rotate and eventually delete old logs.

No because most of the logs are nowadays extracted from the systemd journal which can not be cleared easily.
THX,
I just wondered.
I do a lot of playing around, e.g. storage, services and plugins. To learn about OMV and how things work, in OMV and an Debian environment.
For that, I start over with OMV 6 from scratch, since I like to start with a clean system, I made a clonezilla backup of a basic setup with things that I always use.
Likewise, I like to clear the logs and start fresh there too.
That is the only reason I ask.
It's O.K. the way it is.
THX a lot, for the answers and explanations.
