Missing firmware for what? Is something not working? Does installing firmware-linux-nonfree not fix it?
I do not want to lose everything, can you guide me how to install this ?
Right now, I am in emergency mode

At this point not sure what to do anyone?
Anser the question what exactly is missing. Post a screen shot, as i do not understand the message.

Firmware missing I can boot in default mode....?
You need to work on you photography skills. I need all of the message.
It is missing the firmware of the graphic card, but something else is going on too.
OK few more with the log
Are you feeling funny today? Have you tried to read the screen shots and why do you post output of clonezillaß
I need the full width of the first screenshot you posted which says it can not check filesysem . Is there a reason?
do what it says on the screen and run jounrnalctl -xb
Your probem is not related to firmware, but to the disk.
I am getting the grub and after the screen where it says missing firmware.
Yes I found one backup from clonezilla, but even this one failed, still complaining about missing firmware!

OK.. If you look at the pic in post 10, it is complaining about a filesystem error. Since it's complaining of a dependency of /var/lib/docker.. I'm assuming your containers are stored there and docker cannot start due to the screwed up filesystem. If you read it says you can log in as root and type journalctl -xb did you try that? (that other screenshot is way to hard to read)
Are you using OMV 5? Here's some info on this from Deban 10 (which OMV 5 is based on)
I am gonna try to explain the server OMV6 is always on, last night it was working perfect did not stop it did not update anything this morning my Pihole was off so I realized something was cooking
Sure I got into the log but not sure what to look for in journalctl -xb got a lot of pages, should I upload more pics?
I ran into this page https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/amd64/ch06s04 but no idea how to proceed I would love to avoid a complete reinstall, although I have a recent portainer backup

The pics are extremely hard to read... If they are saying more or less the same thing over and over, just type it out.
Ok here all the warning in red in the journalctl -xb log this is the best I can I guess I have got a hardrive failure but not the SSD where OMV is, so what are my options?

try to do a manual fsck on this disk and see what is the problem.
Forget about the firmware which is for the graphics card.
I need a little bit help since fdisk -l or lsbk does not show the drive dev-disk-bydisk- by uuid xxxxxxxxxxxxxx96bf4f It show the other working drives only
so how can I run fsck if I do not know the sdxx number id?
Nevermind lsblk -f did it
Success I am back in business thank you to all of you fsk -y /dev/sdc1 fixed it in 5 minutes
Now you coould consider to install the non-free repos for the firmaware of the graphic card, but on a server you usually do not need that.
Hi lads,
I have a similar problem with OMV version 6.5.0
This is a freshly installed system which is constantly rebooting.
BIOS is the latest one from MSI
Any ideas?
