QEMU packages not updated

  • Some QEMU packages does not update during GUI update procedure.

    Is this "correct"?

Please, consider that I'm not really using QEMU/KVM... I just tried to "play" with it adding a couple of Pools and one Network (not really used).

what does it tell you when you try to manual install those packages with apt-get install?

Apparently we have the same question,

These are not the same issue. One is upgrading but the user was curious about doing something other than accepting the default. This thread is about packages not upgrading at all and being held back.

Well we both noticed "Some QEMU packages does not update during GUI update procedure."

The difference seems from my view that I got to the next level for troubleshooting the root cause

i have the same issue btw

These are apt issues. They might be caused by upgrading and backports being enabled. If you try installing the held packages with apt-get install, does it "fix" it?

Did you include a package name after apt-get install?

    Uhm, no.
Shall I? Sorry, I'm not so expert...

Yes. Take the list of packages held back and put all of them after apt-get install
