When I try to connect via SSH to my computer, it returns "connection refused." I know that the user in question that I am connecting with has the SSH group as well as the sudo and root groups. I know that SSH is enabled with the Permit root login and Password authentication settings enabled. I am running OMV on a Raspberry pi 4 B with the Linux 5.15.32-v8+ kernel and running OMV 6.0.28-3 (Shaitan). I am also using it as an SMB/CIFS server with the Fail2Ban plugin as well. Any help in fixing the error would be appreciated.

try to get some logs:
ssh -vv user@omv
connection refused may indicate a network issue or is ssh listening on a different port?
-
When I run that command replacing "user" with the username and "omv" with the IP, it returns " bad tun device 'user@omv' "

Fail2Ban plugin as well.
Maybe you locked yourself.
Check the plugin on the GUI and see if your IP is blocked

I need to see the command and the output in a code box before I belive this.

I disabled all SSH-related jails and that fixed the issue, thanks for the help.

That's a workaround to get it accessible.
Now, edit fail2ban to ignore IPs from LAN to prevent this to happen again.

Ok. How do I do that?

Ok. How do I do that?
Set any range of internal IP that matches your LAN (or the IP of the device you use to SSH to it.
Press SAVE and that's it.
