Raid0 and BTRFS

  • I'm setting up Openmediavault 6

Raid Level : raid0 BTRFS with 3 -drives

    device /dev/md0

My problem is that ,I what to mount my share at a /mnt/share.

    not at ../srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-30728ebc-588f-45b1-bd58-a643fa47f69f/share

This is what I have at this time.

    /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-30728ebc-588f-45b1-bd58-a643fa47f69f/share

what I'm shutting for is /mnt/share

This /mnt/share will work with a zfs pool

but not with Raid and BTRFS.

    I get always /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-30728ebc-588f-45b1-bd58-a643fa47f69f/share

    Thanks for the help..

    Thanks you ,ryecoaaron ,

But that will give me this....

    /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-30728ebc-588f-45b1-bd58-a643fa47f69f/mnt/share

but I would like this.. in the /mnt/ location not the /srv/

I like to set my shares at /mnt/ location not disk-by-uuid.

it does work with a zfs pool. but..

do I need to go with a ZFS pool. to set my shares in a /mnt/ location.

    Thanks..

No it won't. There is a space in between the two paths to create a symlink. You could even use the symlinks plugin to create it.

You could use zfs or you could mount them manually (and use the sharerootfs plugin). But I don't understand why you think the symlink won't work? I use them myself in many places.
