File Browser plugin in OMV6 says wrong credentials

Hello I hope someone can help. I have added the File Browser plugin to OMV 6 - I managed to get in using admin as login and admin as password. I logged in from a second PC and changed the password. It worked 100% on the second PC. Main PC, File Browser says wrong credentials. Now the other sendary pc also won't open File Browser. The password is one I use a lot, so I know it was correct.

Is there a way to reset the password for File Browser from within OMV6

What is the workaround?

Remove filebrowser and install again.

Hello. It didn't work for me. I just installed the plugin and can't login: "wrong credentials" with admin/admin or admin/admin123

Works as expexted here. Please attach to the container and check the log output. Maybe run omv-salt deploy run filebrowser again to ensure the configuration files are generated properly.

Did you changed password? Try with that password. Even if you uninstal plugin and instal again it remembers password you changed. Dont know how and why

Remove the installation

go to /var/lib/filebrowser ther will be 2 files left 1 database file 1 json file, remove them reinstall and you have a fresh installl.

I had the same problem. It seems that after installation a new default username and password are set, both "admin".

So just use admin admin and it will let you in. Then you can reset password.

Username: admin.
Password: admin.

You can use WinSCP if your client is windows. https://winscp.net/eng/download.php
