Unable to see plugins in OMV 6 Web UI. after migrating

  • OMV 6.0.40-1

    Linux : Linux 5.18.0-0.deb11.4-amd64

I upgrade from OMV5 to OMV6. The pluggin that were installed had been re installed. Docker, Portainer has also been migrated.

    Everything goes well.

Except the fact that I cannot access to the other plugins. The web UI indicates "0 selected / 39 total". I can also not access to Promox or Clonezilla on the OMV-extras tab.

    See screenshots below :

    Capture d’écran 2022-09-18 à 14.08.19.png

This screenshot indicates "39 total" as if the plugins were present but not visible.

Here I can not access to Promox ou Clonezilla

When I list packages that are installed, i get :

    root@NAS-PLEX:~# dpkg -l | grep openmedia

ii openmediavault 6.0.40-1 all openmediavault - The open network attached storage solution

ii openmediavault-apttool 6.0.1 all apt tool plugin for OpenMediaVault.

ii openmediavault-keyring 1.0 all GnuPG archive keys of the OpenMediaVault archive

ii openmediavault-omvextrasorg 6.1.1 all OMV-Extras.org Package Repositories for OpenMediaVault

ii openmediavault-remotemount 6.0.2 all Remote mount plugin for OpenMediaVault.

ii openmediavault-resetperms 6.0.2 all Reset Permissions

ii openmediavault-wol 6.1 all OpenMediaVault WOL plugin

    root@NAS-PLEX:~#

wol, resetperms, remotemount, apttool were présent when I migrate. And they are working.

The version of OpenMediaVault is OK

The version of OMV-Extras is OK.

If someone can help, that will be nice, so that I would have completly finish the migration.

Thanks for all the development you did, they are awesome, professional and very very useful.

  • Thanks a lot.

It works for the plugins but I don't have access to Clonezilla, Cockpit ou Proxmox in OMV-Extras like it was in OMV 5.x

I try to refresh cache browser.

Have you an idea or those functionalities disappeared from OMV 6.x?

They were moved to the openmediavault-kernel plugin due to changes in OMV 6.x that wouldn't allow me to hide those tabs for arm systems.

  • Aahhhh!

I was using Cockpit for Terminal under a browser. For VM I am using Docker.

I will try KVM to see how it works.

Thanks to everyone for all the job done. This marvellous.
