No plugins showing

  • I am new to OMV and I had a successful install however, I do not see any plugins or updates showing in the GUI.

I need to use the Command line to install any updates.

I was able to install OMV extras but I still do not see any plugins.

I am trying to install LVM and TGT so I can configure ISCSI

    What have I done wrong?

That doesn't seem to do anything. Just returns me to the command prompt.

You must have upgraded this system from OMV 5? Try this fix - RE: OMV 5 to OMV 6 upgrade issue

    cat /etc/apt/sources.list

You need to remove those stretch lines.

  • Quote from PCman
    1. In my OMV6 web Menu , I went to System
    2. I chose Plugins
    3. I chose "Check for new Plugins"
    4. I did not see anything titled "AutoShutdown Plugin"
    5. I went to omv-extras.org and didn't see anything of this plugin that's mentioned.

Reply: do you have omvextras installed?

OK. I'm still stuck here. I appreciate anyone's help as I'm a total Newbie here..

It was suggested that I install "OMVEXTRAS" ?

So I looked around, And I still don't see anything on how to do this.

Keep in mind that I'm only familiar with using the Wen GUI, and not direct Linux commands.

Any suggestions?? I'll kind of need a step by step, if that's ok.. Thanks
