Remount filesystem - is it possible?

  • Hi all,

I'm relatively new to OMV. So far - like it a lot.

I have an unusual use-case, which I'm looking for help:

In my configuration, I have an external HDD connected to my system. At least once a week, I need to shutdown all my system (both OMV and the external HDD).
When I turn it on, not always I remember to turn on the HDD, and I end up with a state in which HDD is not mounted (and thus few things doesn't work). Turning on the HDD, does not trigger a re-mounting.

A workaround for this case, is simply rebooting the system.

I was wondering - is there a way to remount the external HDD without rebooting the system?
