Kill Process via the GUI

  • Hi, sometimes I have a long-running rsync command (either scheduled or run using the GUI that I then lose control of) that I would like to stop. I can see the process still running in Top (Diagnostics -> Processes) and I would like to kill it without going to the command line. Is this possible?

(The reason for not wanting to go to the command line is that this belongs to a family member who isn't comfortable with it)

    Is this possible?

Not really. you could create a temporary scheduled task (kill 12345) and execute it though.
