OMV-EXTRAS 6.x

I installed OMV 6.0.24 and have everything pretty well configured. I then tried to install the OMV-Extras. I am running Linux Mint on my PC. As per the website, I ran the command for version 5 (for a newbie like me, it was not clear where to run the command from. I did if from the OMV machine and my PC).

Here is the command I ran -

wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…ckages/raw/master/install | bash

On my PC, it returned that it it was an "unsupported Version of opemediavault". Makes sense since openmediavault is not installed on my PC.

I ran the command from the OMV PC and it connected to github,com, but then gave a 404 Page Not Found error. When I open a browser on my PC and type in https://raw.githubusercontent.…s/packages/master/install, I see the install script. It tries to open https://raw.githubusercontent.…evelopers/packages/master. That page does not exist (404 error).

Any ideas? Really just looking to install the Flash plugin to help save my flash drive where the OMV OS resides.

It doesn't show much more that just could not resolve host name (which points to your response):

Resolving github.com (github.com) ... failed: Name or service not known

wget: unable to resolve host address 'github.com'

So I was not sure what to use as the dns server. I have a gateway at 192.168.1.254. Then I use eero mesh network which has an address of 192.169.4.1. Because I needed extra ethernet ports for non-wi-fi devices, I purchased a "wifi extender" that basically links the eero wi-fi signal to an ethernet port that is then connected to a switch. for additional ports. I connected the OMV box to the ethernet port on the switch and set the OMV's IP Address to 192.158.4.200, fixed (disabled DHCP).

I had read that I could use google for dns name resolution, so I set the DNS Server to 8.8.8.8. That's where we are now.

Thanks for all the help. turns out I had mis-typed the netmask. Corrected that and all is well.
