What does this mean?
What does this mean?
What kind of filesystem is the ExMedia2T?
Looking at the log I tried to start that service manually from the terminal and I get this error you see in the attachment
What kind of filesystem is the ExMedia2T
HFS+
You need to use a native Linux filesystem for nfs. While Linux can read HFS+, that is about it. You won't be able to share it via nfs.

ah ok, thanks for the support. I will try with a ext3 filesystem
I will try with a ext3 filesystem
Use ext4.
Use ext4.
I formatted a new disk to ext4 and now I can enabled NFS (also SMB) but the disk is in read only mode. I gave permission to the user read/write.
Which is the issue now?
Thanks
What is telling you it is in "read only mode"?
What is telling you it is in "read only mode"?
I could not add files to the disk.
But now I put read/write to my user in the "Access Control list" and now I can read and write to the disk.
Thank you for support
