After power failure NUT defective and can also no longer be uninstalled

  • There was a power failure on Friday and since then NUT is broken and I can't uninstall it either. At first everything worked great, the power failed, the UPS took over and after the pre-set time NUT shut down my Proxmox host incl. machines, then the Raspi on which it runs itself. Everything as configured.

After the power was back and I have restarted everything, I have had in OMV only errors from NUT. I wanted to uninstall NUT and install again but I fail. NUT is currently no longer properly installed, which also reports a sudo apt autoremove. However, the uninstallation always aborts.

Does anyone have any idea how I can uninstall and then reinstall NUT?

    • install OMV 6 on Raspberry PI 4
    • activate Monitoring under System
    • install openmediavault-nut 6.0.2-1 via Plugins
    • activate UPS under Services
