Missing menu FTP at Services

I had FTP mounted in Nextcloud and to my surprise, after the loss in the services, the files are available. Now I'm installing the plugin, let's see if the current FTP settings are successfully transferred.

I do not recall seeing in "change log" shown at the update screen that I will need to install new plugin in order to see FTP services.

These are all good points and I am as guilty of NOT reading them myself as most of users here.. Maybe a "bulk" message to all forum users?. This is unusual situation.

You are right again that ~80% users do not use FTP. I did not use it until about 3 weeks ago I was asked by my wife to install Fire Stick 4K Max (she likes their GUI) and to properly copy/move files to it From any of my Linux boxes I had to install and use "FileZilla". Other than that I have no use for FTP protocol on my intranet.

Interesting. How do you copy files from other computer to the Fire Stick?. I use x-plorer on it and enable FTP. I used to be able to connect to my NAS server (OMV-6) but, for sometime now, x-plorer says "incompatible SMB".

personally I use ftp and share folder with my music, to be able to play it on android device using foobar player. And I don`t know other way how to play music from omv to the android phone
without using emby or thing like these, it`s not very useful for me

I use airsonic docker to sharee music, have a very good interface on android & apple devices. (substreamer app on android)

replace $Variables by proper value, eg in my case $PUID=1000 or $TZ=/Europe/Madrid
