Hi,
i seem to be to dumb to use zfs + samba shares the right way. As I had problems with my "real" NAS, I am now in a VM to test it.
So, installed latest OMV + OMV Extras + ZFS Plugin + Proxmox Kernel 6.1 (so it should be the same as my real NAS)
1) I create a pool called NAS-Daten, I havent changed any ZFS property
2) add two Datasets /NAS-Daten/Bilder; /NAS-Daten/Videos
3) I create a shared Folder for each of them
4) Enable Samba Share for each
-> till now, all seems to be fine
5) Now I create another ZFS Filesystem /NAS-Daten/SVN
6) The folder structure changes to something like /NAS-Daten/SVN/Bilder + /NAS-Daten/SVN/Videos while folder /NAS-Daten/Bilder + /NAS-Daten/Videos still exists
Maybe I am struggeling with the idea of creating a dataset and share it at the same time? Or is it intended to be like:
Dataset: /NAS-Daten/Bilder with an additional Share inside the Dataset so my folders would look like /NAS-Daten/Bilde/Bilder
