RAID 6 - 30 Days to initialize - 6x4TB HDD

I set up OMV 6 last night and started a RAID 6 on my 6 - 4TB drives. and I hit 1% done around 11am. The projection is saying it will take 30 days to complete.

I know it would take some time but a month does not seem right. The S.M.A.R.T. on all the disks is reading good.

What should I do?

Should I wait to set up the filesystem?

Memory: Conexant (Rockwell) 2x8GiB DIMM DDR3 Synchronous 1600 MHz (0.6 ns)

ananas I tried that earlier and thought it wasn't working. But i didn't see that the system requested a restart. I restarted the system, deleted the old RAID 6, and restarted it so its at about 8% after an hour and a half. So I think we are cooking now. Thnaks!
