I do get the padlock but I still get the swag park page instead of Nextcloud
that doesn't make any sense at all. Never had that happen.
Hang on.

What's your port forwarding look like in your router?
Edit: Also, you did restart nextcloud/nextclouddb when you updated the config.php right?
You did create a cname for Nextcloud in cloudflare, right?
Display Morelooks good.
Now, save the config.php...
Restart your nextcloud container
Then you should be able to get to nextcloud at https://nextcloud.your-domain.tld
IF YOU CAN'T... Try doing so from a cell phone/tablet with a data plan, that is NOT connected to your wifi, and see if it works that way.
Irregardless, if nextcloud responds in this manner, you should see a padlock by the URL indicating the connection is secure
Once you've got it working via domain, there's a few things you need to clean up.. but it's relatively easy stuff.
Take a better look to his config.php.
There's some errors.
For eg, dbtype=sqlite3 means he didn't change the DB to mariaDB
This is just one error.
I'm on phone and vacations, I'll leave it as is, 😉

Dang, I totally missed that...lol. Admittedly though, I'm helping two people with completely different issues, and their subject is exactly the same... so I've confused them both.
Enjoy your vacation.
Well it should be working.. sqlite or not....
Check your PM's
For those interested, he had a couple different problems which are now resolved (basic setup stuff)...
However, I did find out in the midst of all this, Nextcloud now requires redis. It will still work without it, but you'll get a "security flag" under admin settings.
I'll post the fix in a bit.

Nextcloud, and if I recall correctly OwnCloud, even before nextcloud existed, has always recommended redis. This is part of the reason why I never used the docker build of nextcloud. I always preferred to run it as bare metal or a light vm so I could do all the recommeded setups.

Recommended.. yes. but now you'll get errors if you're not running it. Definitely wasn't like that before.
It's easy to implement however.
