OMV crashes with partitioned disk

  • I'm using OMV 6.0 with Proxmox. OMV tends to crash when I copy to/from a 12TB disk that is divided into 8 and 4 TB partitions. Has anyone had trouble with large or partitioned disks?

It used to work fine under OMV 5.6.

I used the standard ISO installers for OMV 6.0 and 5.6. Wouldn't these be 64-bit? How can I tell?

OMV 5.x and 6.x only had 64 bit installers. You can tell by the amd64 in the iso filename. Otherwise, just type: arch

Any suggestions on how I should go about identifying the source of the problem? Has anyone had problems with OMV on Proxmox?

How do you now it is "crashing"? How much ram does the VM have? How does the OMV VM get the storage? virtual disks? passthrough? something else?

Have you thought about running OMV with the KVM plugin instead of proxmox? I do after running proxmox (and ESXi) for years.
