Sure! I have no plans to remove any of the finished images.
do you still have the 14.2 somewhere that i can download? Because Video90 & Video93 no longer compatible.
Thanks

Just use the "tag" field and enter the version you want when you pull the image (a list of available tags/versions can be found on my Docker hub account).
hmmm.. The tag only contains "latest". no 14.2

Hehe, you're looking at the wrong image I have a number of them... Look here instead:

Ok. got it. Thanks again man. great support you have there for us
No problem, as long as the kids let me have the computer for myself so I can answer any questions
I believe you had some issues understanding how the plugin works and I would very much like your feedback on how to make it more intuitive. I've tried to make it "user friendly" but it's not very easy when you know quite a lot about Docker to begin with...
Hi newcomer here. Is it possible to run 2 version of containers ( 14.2 and 15.1) to serve clients chosen build?
With the latest image (kodi 15), I have again the load average Problem.
Load average is always above 1, and kodi.bin is about 60-70% cpu. Any ideas?
Is it possible to update Kodi inside the container?
No you can't upgrade easily from within the container since kodi is built from source with some patches for running in headless mode... Are you running watchdog plugin?
Yes I'm using whatchdog.
I found out, that kodi+samba making problems.
I read about a similiar problem, which is fixed in Kodi 15.2.
When I remove the <music> section from the sources.xml, cpu load goes doch to 50 %.
You can rebuild the docker image in your system, that would give you the latest (16 beta)
If you want 15.2 you'll probably have to add to the Dockerfile git checkout Helix before executing the ./configure
Maybe I can build a new image later tonight.
OK. If not, I will try .... never used docker before.
I'm building the new image now. However this will probably be the last kodi headless image from me since I no longer use it myself. You are very welcome to fork my github repository and keep on building new images.
Great work. Thank you!
Is it possible to still run the 14.2 docker image? I cann't manage that.
For some reason almost all builds have been deleted from the docker hub. I just started a "rebuild" of 14.2 which should be done in a few minutes.
EDIT: Build is completed.
It works, great. I have a 14.2 client which does not work with 15.x.
Do you work on a v16 or v17 build? Or can I simply open a bash to your 15.2 container and make a kodi update?

No, those are special kodi binaries, they are patched to not have GUI, and they are not official so no update. The build is quite complex I've already tried to change just the branch to jarvis and it doesn't work, need some new runtime dependencies and also build some other dependencies. There is another docker container around headless for Jarvis, so it should work but you need to add the watchdog manually.
Personally i am about to drop this, since i use scripts on flexget and sonarr that trigger selective path updates, but the usage of the watchdog is nice, it just works avoiding to have the watchdog in limited resource small clients like rpi. The upnp server is also nice to just connect in kodi and have the library there. Maybe I'll keep the watchdog as a daemon cleaner when i remove files
