But with the plugin everything is easier.

One tip, first establish a wireguard tunnel connection to the remote server and make sure it is working. Then from your house calmly connect to the remote server and to yours and set up another point-to-point tunnel so that the two servers establish communication with each other.

Actually the client concept in Wireguard is wrong. In Wireguard there are peers, there are no servers and clients. The word Wireguard server is commonly used to designate a peer that simultaneously establishes a connection with several peers. But that server is still another peer, the tunnel setup is the same.
