are they any krazilex plugins for armel platform?

  • I'm currently running 0.6.0.16 krazilex on a pogoplug armel platform using the backported 3.14 kernel.

I've installed the omv-extras.org plugin, but before I installed the plugin and afterwards; every time that I click on "Plugins" section via the web-interface I get the following error message.

    Code
    Error #6000: exception 'OMVException' with message 'The index of available plugins does not exist. Please re-synchronize the package index files from their sources.' in /usr/share/openmediavault/engined/rpc/pluginmgmt.inc:73 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: OMVRpcServicePluginMgmt->enumeratePlugins(NULL, Array) #1 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpcservice.inc(125): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #2 /usr/share/openmediavault/engined/rpc/pluginmgmt.inc(117): OMVRpcServiceAbstract->callMethod('enumeratePlugin...', NULL, Array) #3 [internal function]: OMVRpcServicePluginMgmt->getList(Array, Array) #4 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpcservice.inc(125): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #5 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc.inc(79): OMVRpcServiceAbstract->callMethod('getList', Array, Array) #6 /usr/sbin/omv-engined(495): OMVRpc::exec('Plugin', 'getList', Array, Array, 1) #7 {main}

Not sure if I've got an installation error or maybe there just isn't any plug-ins yet for the armel platform?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the update, but should I be able to see the list of plug-ins via the web interface?

Currently when I click on Plugins I get the same error message.

If I'm logged in via SSH and issue "apt-get update" I get this error message.

I've checked everything I know to check but obviously I'm still missing something. Any ideas?

The package list doesn't finish building because openmediavault-forkeddaapd isn't installable. What is the output of:

    apt-cache policy forked-daapd

That isn't right... What is the output of:

  • sorry, here's the feedback.

    Thanks for the help

  • Just a bit more information because I was curious.

Your /etc/apt/sources.list is missing quite a few repos. Here is mine:

    Code
    deb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy main
    deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy main

    deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main non-free
    deb-src http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main non-free

    deb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy-updates main non-free
    deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy-updates main non-free

These will work on your system. Add them and apt-get update.

  • I don't know what's wrong. I removed all entries from my sources.list and entered your's in verbatim.

issued an apt-get clean, rebooted the system, then issued an "apt-get update"

But I'm still getting the same error message. Maybe the openmediavault-forkeddaapd or the forked-daapd package just isn't available in the armel repos?

It sucks because it seems that one plug-in (that I won't ever use) is hosing up the rest of them.

I don't think the package is in the right repo. I will tell Volker to fix.

If you want to test, try the following:

    Code
    wget -P /var/cache/openmediavault/archives/ http://packages.openmediavault.org/public/pool/main/f/forked-daapd/forked-daapd_0.19-1~bpo60+1_armel.deb

  • After running those two commands, ultimately I got the same error message as listed before while "creating index of openmediavault plugins"

But then I downloaded the forked-daapd deb file to the /root directory and tried to install it, just for curiosity.

Below is the output of that command, which may explain the problems that I've run into.

I'm running Wheezy, backported kernel 3.15.3-kirkwood on an Arm v5 Pogoplug, but I never actually did a traditional installation of Wheezy or the default 3.2.0 kernel. I used a pre-compiled Wheezy rootfs of kernel 3.14 created by bodhi taken from this page http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,12096 and then just updated the kernel to 3.15. I will add that the pogoplug runs great on 3.15, but maybe I've inadvertently caused my own problems?

Unfortunately, that package is for squeeze and has dependency on squeeze packages. I thought it might work. I told volker to take the openmediavault-forkeddaapd package out of the armel repo.

I built the forked-daapd package on my RPi running armel wheezy. I put it in the omv-extras kralizec repo. So, install omv-extras using command line method here and then apt-get update.
